Hi I'm Smitha!

I'm a currently a 3rd year Computer Animation student at Ringling College of Art and Design.

 

My childhood was a whole lot of messy doodles in math notebooks and countless hours of movie-watching, animated and live action alike. Somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t just want to watch the magic—I wanted to make it myself.

From the initial idea to the final render, I adore every step of the animation pipeline. ​I’ve loved the art from a viewer standpoint, but as an artist I want nothing more than to tell a story—an aspect that animation captures beautifully.

When I'm not animating, I'm watching movies off my 500+ film watchlist, hunting for the nearest oreo milkshake, or pretending I’m a professional photographer with my tiny digital camera.
