Hi I'm Smitha!

I recently graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a degree in Computer Animation and a minor in Business! I'm currently based in Los Angeles, working as an Artistic Resource Management Intern at DreamWorks Animation.

My childhood was filled with doodles in math notebooks and too many nights with my eyes glued to a TV screen. Somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t just want to watch the magic, I wanted to make it too.

From the initial idea to the final render, I adore every step of the animation pipeline. I love film from the audience perspective, but as an artist I want nothing more than to tell a story, an aspect that animation captures beautifully.

When I'm not working, I'm making progress on my 500+ film watchlist, hunting for the nearest oreo milkshake, or pretending to be a professional photographer with my digital camera!
